I made a mistake during my last move that I probably won’t repeat. I focused so much on packing fragile items that I completely ignored measuring a few large pieces of furniture before moving day.
Everything seemed fine until we tried getting a bookshelf through a narrow hallway. It technically fit, but only after a lot of awkward maneuvering and several stressful minutes where I was convinced we were about to damage both the wall and the furniture.
